FEEL THE STRIKE

My name is Tres, and I am the creator and artist at Lightning Strike Lures. I am an avid fisherman for all kinds of gamefish, but due to my home location in Waco, Texas, I primarily fish for largemouth bass. I have spent a lifetime in fishing, and I have also always loved to tinker and create with my hands.

I got into Swimbaits after hand-making and hand shaping balsa crankbaits. I kept making the baits bigger in size until I had shaped and molded my first prototype glidebait. That has evolved into the "STRIKE⚡️SHAD" that is currently our flagship glidebait.

The "3-Boltfish" on the bottom of each lure's belly is my signature on each bait I paint. I am the "third" by name, and I have always gone by "Tres" since I am the third. The "3-Boltfish" was my way of incorporating my own namesake into each lure so that you know this was painted by me...not some assembly line in another country.
